Join us for the first in our Meet Your Maker series, an evening with Steve Ela of Ela Family Farms. Many of you know Steve, the fourth generation owner of Ela Family Farms. He grows the fruit behind some of our favorite ciders. During this event Dan will sit down with Steve for a conversation about the orchard, the fruit, and everything in between.
Many of you may remember our crazy snow storm in May, around the same time, the Western Slope experienced a late frost. After spending hours walking their rows of fruit trees, Steve determined there wasn't any live fruit on any of them which meant a total crop loss for their family. A portion of the evening's proceeds will be donated to Ela Family Farms.
We'll pour a few older Ela vintages you won't find anywhere else, offer small bites, and release a brand new Ela cider available for purchase.
