Second in our Lazy Bear 2026 Summer Series, we are featuring corn. The corn from G&S Farms in Brentwood is the best sweet corn in the world (and practically the only one we utilize in our kitchen). It's an idealized version of those childhood memories of warm days, family barbecues, and eating it right off the cob. But that was never actually this good!
Our chefs will be exploring this singular ingredient over the course of a unique corn tasting menu for this night only, weaving in a variety of proteins and other produce to highlight, complement, and complete this corn feast. Think fresh and sweet, sour and preserved, crispy, masa, huitlacoche, along with luxurious accompaniments. Optional beverage pairing that may be outside of the norm to include wine, spirits and/or beer to specifically tailor to this spotlight ingredient. Our optional zero-proof progression as well will be an extension and different perspective on corn and its compliments.
